A healthy Merchant Center workflow starts with the storefront, not only the feed. Before submitting products, review whether customers and automated systems can understand who operates the business, what is being sold and what happens after an order.

1. Confirm business identity
Display consistent business contact information and make important customer-service details easy to find. Store details should not conflict with information submitted through other systems.

2. Review policy pages
Check delivery, returns, refunds and privacy information. Policies should be specific to the business, readable and accessible from the storefront.

3. Compare product data
Titles, prices, availability, variants and landing-page information should remain aligned with submitted product data. Even legitimate stores can create confusing signals when updates happen in only one system.

4. Test important links
Inspect product, collection, policy and navigation links for broken destinations, redirect loops or inaccessible pages.

5. Prioritize findings
Separate critical blockers from warnings and improvements. A prioritized review makes remediation easier than a long undifferentiated checklist.
