01. What does SLVD scan?
Pages, product content, key trust elements, GMC-sensitive language, and (optionally) feed-to-store alignment via the GMC Validation add-on.
02.Will SLVD fix issues automatically?
SLVD guides fixes and supports bulk fix workflows; However changes need to be manually made on your storefront.
03.Why are external links dangerous?
External links can indicate unlicensed or copied content, and slow down your store’s performance. SLVD highlights all external links, so you can easily find & fix them.
04.How do I run a scan on my Shopify store?
Shopify requires you to allow authenticated crawlers.
To enable SLVD:
- Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Preferences → Crawler Access → Create Signature
- Set User-Agent to: adon
- Paste the generated signature and signature input into SLVD
- Start your scan
This authorizes SLVD to crawl your store’s pages safely.
05.Does SLVD support multiple stores/brands?
Yes. You can run scans for multiple stores and brands from the same account.
06.How fast is the first scan?
Most sites generate initial results in minutes, depending on size.
07.Can SLVD scan any platform?
SLVD currently supports Shopify stores. Additional platforms will be added over time.
08.Can I export reports for stakeholders?
You can share scan findings with your stakeholders. More advanced export formats are on our roadmap.
09.What is the AdKnot connection?
If you connect your AdKnot account to SLVD, you can scan the stores that are registered in adknot for free.
10.How do I connect AdKnot?
- In SLVD, go to My Adon Stores → Connect.
- Copy the API key that was generated for you.
- In AdKnot, go to SLVD connection, paste the API key & click connect.
This will connect your AdKnot’s stores to SLVD which you will be able to scan for free.
